The Real Ombre

Let this before and after by colorist Erick Orellana be your guide to the difference between an unsuccessful attempt at ombre and an example of ombre done right. Before this client went to see Erick, her ‘ombre’ process had resulted in a streaky highlight at the face only. A real ombre color should be a blend of your natural color that gradually gets lighter at the ends, a result looking as if you had spent the whole summer at the beach and your hair had been lightened by the sun. Brunette Ombre

Let’s stop calling ombre a trend, because trends come and go. This before and after by colorist Erick Orellana is a reminder why ombre is here to stay. How can you not love this gorgeous brunette color?   ombre hair makeover 2013

From Red to Vanilla Blonde

Attention redheads – if you’re looking to change your hair color from red to blonde, then take advice from our pro Erick Orellana and make sure you put your hair in the right hands. Stripping red tones can be difficult, and if not done correctly, can negatively effect the integrity of your hair. Erick has experience doing delicate color corrections like this before, so after pulling the warm tones from his client’s hair, he then double highlighted her stands to give her an all-over vanilla blonde shade. We love new natural buttery blonde!
