How did you add so much volume other than the cut? My hair is very fine and I can’t get any volume. I’ve tried volumizing powders, drying upside down, I back-comb until my arms get hair just falls flat! Any tips?

    1. Hi Kat –
If your hair is fine you definitely want to use a liquid only volumizing product. Powders, creams, sometimes even mousses are just too ‘heavy’ for fine hair. We like Oribe Maximista Volumizing spray and recommend any spray that has alcohol in it because the ingredient does make a difference in giving your hair that actual lift. Also, as with any liquid volumizing product, don’t be afraid to apply liberally, spraying your entire head (root area) 20-25 times. Keep in mind that yes alcohol does also ‘dry’ your hair, so make sure you are deep conditioning it once or twice a week with a mask.

What do you think?
